Ethical Ingredients and Suppliers
Ingredients and suppliers are very important and wherever we are located we try to buy locally and organically. We also aim to use Fair-trade products and buy from our local tea company Clipper Teas! We sell organic cakes from the famous Village Bakery as well as other locally sourced bakery products and apple juice from Bridge Farm, Somerset. Organic salad is grown to order by Pat Foxwell, a local small holder in the Bride Valley, Dorset. We make every effort to use only organic milk and try to source this wherever we go.
Feeding of the 500
We have a menu which has developed over the years due to popular demand, ranging from our signature dish: the vegetarian breakfast (500 per day sometimes!) , to the Henry’s Beard Coconut and Potato Curry and our famous Spanish Tortilla straight out of the oven.
